Milestones....

My we've been busy.....Harper has accomplished 2 milestones this week. We are officially sitting on our own....we've been doing short stints with assistance for awhile now but we sit like an old pro these days....

Harper has also perfected her first method of transportation....steamrolling....and so it begins....

Half a Year....

Harper is officialy half way through her first year today. We've had our 6 month appointment and she is growing just as she should be....measuring in at 18.5 lbs and 27 ".

We spent the past weekend visiting family. Harper and her cousins Josh and Allie are becoming more interactive with one another and it's so fun to watch.

Harper enjoyed her time with Boppa and Grammy and also got to spend some time with her Great Great Aunt Reba.

Harper was also reintroduced to her best bud Kaitlyn...they've spent the past 4 months apart, my how they've changed, but they seem to take to each other and play together as well as a 6 and 9 month old could.

Oh my how we've grown.....

Little Miss Harper seems to be growing up so quickly! Seeing her everyday we notice her personality blossoming but until we did this photo comparison hadn't truly realized how much she's changed.......

We also tried our first "real" food this weekend....some good 'ol rice cereal......

Harper is starting to come around to this new way of eating but definitely wasn't sure after the first bite.....

My New Friend.....

Harper got this kitty as a present from our long time family friends the Barnekoffs. She has come to love her new friend very quickly. Kitty is very easy to hang on to....

not to mention kitty is quite tasty.....
Boppa and Grammy came to visit this weekend and I was a complete slacker at taking pictures. Here's at least proof they were here....

I have poorly documented Harper's 4th month....both via this blog and through pictures I've taken. Slowly learning how to balance being back to work full time. Here's to improving during month number 5...

4 months old....

It is hard to believe Harper is 4 months old already. She had her doctor's appointment and weighed in at 15 lb 5 oz and 24 3/4 inches long. She is definitely a growing girl! This past week was our first week of daycare and Harper did so great. We are absolutely thrilled with Miss Cid who watches Harper along with two 2 year olds. It's so fun to see her changing every day picking up new skills along the way.

Harper has been rolling over every once and awhile from her belly to her back for the past month but it's a pretty standard occurence now. I guess if you hate tummy time you have to learn how to get yourself out of it!

Harper's First Christmas

We had a wondeful Christmas and Boppa and Grammy's house! With all the snow we all spent alot of time with each other, it was great fun! Here are some pics from Christmas Day....

Over Christmas Harper discovered that she can "squeal". Here is a video of her carrying on a squealing conversation with her cousin Josh, he is the other baby you can hear but can't see..... (side note: why do I sound so ridiculous?).... make sure you pause the music player before watching...

We've discovered a new way to pass the time with Harper. She is captivated by daddy playing the guitar and will sit and listen for quite awhile.....
