Goodbye Summer...

We made a trip over to Spokane recently to see Noni, Papa, Grandpa Rick and Great Grandma Karen.  Harper loved all the attention, she also loved spending time outside.  These are our last outdoor "summer" photos....on to fall!

Ohhh the things we say....

It's as if Harper woke up one morning and picked up a whole new vocabulary....we laugh at so many things that come out of her mouth these days. Just a few:

When driving..."Mommy/Daddy be careful"

When playing with Mommy and Daddy she will leave the room, but turn around and say...."Mommy, Daddy, I'll be right back"

When she wants our attention..."Hey guys....look at me!"

When she wants daddy to chase her...."Daddy, you look like the cookie monster"

When she's doing something and doesn't want to listen....."I'll be one minute"

When she thinks a car is driving too close..."Car, walk away" (she learned "walk away" at school in attempt to encourage people to use their words and avoid the word "no")

When playing kitchen...."Mommy/Daddy you hungry? What would you like"

When reading us stories, which she loves to do, every book starts out with..."Once upon a time"

9 months.....

Has it really been that long already since I've posted on this blog! Where has time gone and what excuses do I have. Many of course, but I won't bore you with those. I also obviously could spend days catching up on photos so this will be short and sweet. Just a little taste of what we've been doing these past 9 months....

we were all dressed up for Christmas...
we went on an Easter egg hunt....
we celebrated our friend KK's birthday......
we had popsicles on the fourth with our cousins....
we played by the pool.....we celebrated our 2nd birthday!....
and we're ready to head out for more adventures.....

Here's to hoping it doesn't take me another 9 months to update the blog because by that time we will be a family of 4!
