Snow Day

Well it probably doesn't count for a snow day for those of you who live where it actually snows, but we'll take what we can get! We finally had weather for Harper to try out her little snow suit...

Then we spent some time drying out by the fire...

3 months old already!

Harper turned 3 months old on Thursday! It is hard to believe she is already a quarter of the way through her first year. She is changing so much and it is exciting to see what new developments she is going to have each day.

We're continuing to work on "tummy time". She is a real fan of the modified version on daddy....

She is also starting to explore some "big girl" toys.

Here she is practicing sitting.....
She's even beginning to enjoy her jumping exersaucer. Her feet don't quite touch the ground yet, but she's getting close....

Thanksgiving, come and gone already?

We started out Thanksgiving week with heading to our friends cabin on Hood Canal for the weekend. It was apple cup, so of course Harper and I had to share our Cougar pride.....I know, I know they are awful this year, but hey they won!

Harper's new friend Katy was nice enough to read her a book....even though they were cheering for opposing teams...
Then we headed down to grammy and boppa's were as always we ate ourselves stuffed with delicious meals. Harper loved watching her cousins and nobody can get her to carry on a conversation as well as her boppa can! I was very bad at taking pictures, but luckily auntie Lori snapped a few.....

Allie, Auntie Lori's mom Nancy and Ms. Harper....
Sisters.....

Dad, Millie, Boppa and Josh....

We made an early return from Vancouver to watch my brother's football team play in a state playoff game Friday night....they won...yeah! So we will be watching them play in the 3A state football championship game this Saturday....go Union!!!

Lastly we had a wonderful post-Thanksgiving dinner at auntie Chelle and uncle Greg's house on Saturday with family. Harper's cousin Makenna, who turned 6 this summer, was able to hold Harper and feed her a bottle which they both enjoyed!

Now I can't believe it's December already! Thank goodness for online shopping!

While we were there they snapped a few shots of Harper that they have passed along. Thought I would share as I've been a little lax at taking pictures lately....oops.

Ms. Harper flirting with the camera.....

Smiling at Daddy......

Hanging with Kathy....before you know it Kathy you'll be snapping a photo with your own little sweetheart....

Sleeping in

It's been awhile since we've had a post, mommy and Harper spent the last week down at Grammy and Boppa's.....we had a great time! Harper also decided to start giving mommy and daddy back their nights of sleep and she is so excited about it.....

For a week now she's been going to bed around 7 and sleeping until 6:30 or 7 in the morning. To make it even more official last night we dropped the 10 pm dream feed and she still slept right on through. Yeah! Here she is smiling back at mommy who is so well rested.....

2 months old already!

Harper's Noni Steffanie came to visit this past weekend. It was so great for the 2 of them to have the time together.
Harper turned 2 months old on election day and had her appointment today for her first round of vaccinations. I have to say I was very nervous and didn't know how I would react. She was a champ, cried for about 30 seconds and was over it. I on the other hand broke out in to laughter when she started bawling. I have no idea why, I guess the choice was to laugh or cry and I chose to laugh. The nurse said that surprisingly they have lots of parents who laugh instead of shedding a tear, amazing how we chose to show our emotions :) Our little girl weighed in at 11 lb 15 oz. and 23 1/2 inches long....she's growing!

Quack...Quack...Quack

Although we didn't buy a Halloween costume for Harper we have a one piece ducky sleeper that we were given as a gift. Harper dressed up in it on Halloween in honor of daddy's favorite holiday.

We stopped by mommy's work to make the rounds and check out everyone's costumes. Auntie Tina was dressed up as an oil slick, so Harper posed as a duck caught in the mess. Too cute......
